Our Story

Tiny Toes and Bedclothes was founded in October 2017 by mum-of-two and former Fashion Stylist, Aurelia Brown.

Whilst pregnant with her first child, she found the High Street lacking in options for interesting baby bedding, with a focus on Moses baskets in particular. She felt that Moses baskets were the heart of the home during those early weeks and months, and really wanted something different from the usual nursery prints on offer.

After struggling to find what she wanted for her own children, she finally decided to take a leap of faith and give it a shot. Fast forward to October 2017 and Tiny Toes and Bedclothes was born! 

Aurelia drew on her experience as a mother to create a collection which was both stylish and practical in equal measure. The collection currently consists of a range of carefully considered fitted bed sheets, pillow cases, duvet sets, muslin blankets, and Sleepyhead covers; and Aurelia often undertakes bespoke orders too. Her hope for the future is to continue expanding the product range to include items such as blankets, quilted baby mats, sleepwear and other accessories.

With an emphasis on style and quality over quantity, all pieces are handmade in Yorkshire, England by Aurelia, and are made using a mix of contemporary and vintage style prints, with a strong focus on nature. Tiny Toes and Bedclothes aim to create beautiful products that are both timeless and durable; a special heirloom piece that can be kept and passed down the generations. Aurelia’s vision for the brand was to offer prints that not only stimulate baby, but appeal to parents too, and act as a statement piece in the nursery space. 

OUR ETHOS

The brand is built on passion and love, and our ethos reflects this.

Everything in the shop is made from 100% pure cotton, and where possible, organic materials are used. All fabrics used comply with OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and Aurelia aims to keep the brand as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible via efforts including recyclable packaging, and small scale production, with the intention to reduce waste.
